REMINDER: This is a reminder to pay particular attention to sections 14 A & B in the Instructions to Solicitor. You are responsible to advise us of any irregularities.
Effective June 28, 2010
, the following document has been amended and updated to our website (
www.cmidocs.com) for all Provinces and Territories:

Instructions to Solicitor - (Schedule of Non-Interest Fees, Appendix A - Acceptable ID, Appendix B -"IVF" form are included)
- You will no longer be required to provide the Information Box to the client as it is now part of the Disclosure Statement. We have therefore removed the Information Boxes from the website.
- Paragraph 1 under “Responsibility of Solicitor: Ascertain the identity of each Mortgagor and Guarantor” has been amended to provide that photocopies of identification documentation produced by individual mortgagors or guarantors are not required.
- The “Schedule of Non- Interest Fees” has been revised.
- Appendix A has been revised to reflect new requirements for identification.
Please immediately discontinue use of any previous copies of the Instructions to Solicitor that you may have printed or saved, as they are now obsolete.
Effective January 19, 2010 , New Brunswick Form 9826F – Conditions Supplementaires has been updated on our website.
